Our Pams have finally made it to Adelaide and kicked off their debut Downunder! We’re so excited to be bringing enough glitz and hair spray for the whole of Adelaide Fringe that we wanted to share the excitement – and what better way to do that than a competitive celebration of hair?!
Yup! Our Queens of the Salon are on the hunt for anyone and everyone with fabulous hair to enter the Pamela’s Hair Awards. It’s actually very simple to enter and winners of the awards will be crowned Best Hair of the Fringe!
So, here are the ins and outs of the #PamelasHairAwards
If you or a friend have amazing hair (whatever that means to you) then feel free to enter! All you need to do it pop up a picture Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and tag us @pamelaspalace with the hashtag #PamelasHairAwards to enter into the running!
The competition is now officially up and running, with a final closing date of the 16 March 2019, 12pm. Winners will be privately notified, announced on social media!
We can’t wait to see what weird and wonderful hairstyles are lurking across Adelaide (and beyond).
And as a special treat from us to you, we went through all the posters of this year’s Fringe performances and ear marked the hair styles we were most excited about. Listed below in no particular order are hairstyles you should keep your eye on!
Cal Wilson – has anyone ever been more consistently unique with their wonderful hair? Look at those bangs! That colour and style. We’re in love.
Clare Ellen O’connor – Glitter and diamonds across a perfectly bald head?! What magic! Truly no need to add anything else. We love it, we love it, we love it.
Another Night At The Musicals : Le Gateau Chocolat and Jonny Woo – These two dynamite drag queens have some hair to remember. From their beards, to their eyebrows, right to the crown on their royal heads. We solute you both!
Meg in the Magic Toyshop – If you think because you haven’t got wildly coloured your hair and can’t enter – think again! We are swooning over this luscious, bouncy head of beautiful red hair. Any and all hair welcome here.
Leather Lungs – We’re #sorrynotsorry for the amount of pink and purple in this spectacular hair line-up. Frankly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. And there is no way we can get away with doing a top hair of the Adelaide Fringe without including Leather Lungs in this list. We honestly cannot remember a time we were crushing harder. This impeccable bread, feather and hair combo has got us desperate for more!
So get entering! We want to see your hair in all it’s glory.
