2015 was the biggest, most colourful Fringe ever – and it was our biggest too: Faulty Towers The Dining Experience returned with an impressive 41 performances and The Wedding Reception had a fantastic two-week debut. Both shows won terrific reviews, both had performers and audiences dancing in the street, and both are now back touring.
From a Fringe legend…
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience appeared in Europe for the first time at Edinburgh Fringe 2008, doing two shows per day, six days a week, for three weeks, and every one sold out. This August we welcomed over 3,000 guests!
Thanks to a wonderful cast of Jack Baldwin (Basil), Brian Roche (Manuel) and Suzanna Hughes (Sybil), the show won some great reviews…
‘Sharp, achingly funny and wonderful’ (FringeReview)
***** ‘Faultless’ (The Public Reviews)
***** ‘Rollercoaster entertainment!’ (Broadway Baby)
***** ‘Hilarious. A lifetime must-see!’ (Mumble Theatre)
… and some amazing audience input…
… to a Fringe debut
The Wedding Reception, at its Edinburgh premiere, did really well too! ITI’s new immersive comedy received several 5 stars reviews from critics and a warm and enthusiastic response from audiences as well.
The show is fully immersive and brilliantly funny and engages audience of any age. Those who came to see it in Edinburgh loved it because they ended up feeling “part of the family” rather than just part of a show. Just like at a wedding reception in fact!
And ‘the cast of four are brilliant’ says The Public Reviews! So thanks to David Tremaine, Danielle Briers, Rebecca Norris and Ben Hood for playing nine characters so, so well.
‘Brilliant interactive theatre – highly entertaining! Highly recommended.’ (FringeReview)
***** ‘[A] wild and wonderful new show’ (Mumble Theatre)
***** ‘A sure fire success of hilarity and fun’ (Prodijee Magazine)
